Back together: Michael Douglas, and Catherine Zeta-Jones are back together after six months apart

A US report said that Douglas recently announced the news to his friends, with the report stating that he 'couldn't be happier; and 'he was overheard saying they have reconciled.'

At the premiere of his latest film, Last Vegas, Douglas was seen on the red carpet wearing his wedding ring, where one event-goer said: 'She called to wish him good luck and he said "thanks honey." Douglas hung up with a smile.' According to another source, he spoke about his beautiful wife for most of the evening, who added: 'People kept asking what's going on with Catherine. Michael said, "We are doing great, she's better than ever," and said their kids are doing great.'

Just days after Karrueche showed off her costume, RiRi turned up in the same exact look! Who do you think wore it better?

Although Chris Brown isn’t having the best week that didn’t stop his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, from getting into the Halloween spirit on Oct. 28! The 25-year-old dressed up as a gang member along with her friends, taking to Instagram to show off her get-up, which she captioned: “Chola.” While Kae’s look was definitely different, she wasn’t the only one to show off the style!

A few days after Karrueche debuted the get-up, RiRi rocked the same exact costume when she stepped out to celebrate in her native Barbados on Oct. 31. The songstress rocked a plaid shirt and khaki pants which she wore low to reveal the waistband of her boxers. Larger than life hoop earrings added to the ensemble. Just like Karrueche, the star couldn’t wait to show off her costume — and she took to Instagram to do just that, captioning the photos saying:”My chola name was #ShyGirl.”

Do you think Riri did it on purpose?

Robbers Drove Us To A Bank At Night & Forced Us To Withdraw Cash For Them – Robbery Victims

Julius Adegun had on Saturday, September 21, 2013, boarded a commercial bus from Abule-Egba, on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expresssway, around 10.30pm. He was heading to Iyana-Ipaja but had no idea he had boarded the bus with a three-man gang of robbers.

The events that unfolded later were to confound him because it was one he had never heard of.

“I had heard of robbers waylaying people after they had used the ATM before. I had even heard of people being ambushed immediately they were about to use the ATM and forced to withdraw certain amount of money by robbers. But I never imagined I would be a victim of this kind of robbery,” he said.

He told Saturday PUNCH there were already nine passengers in the 14-seater bus apart from the driver as at the time he boarded. The bus had moved about 10 minutes when it got to a bank on the expressway towards Iyana Ipaja and the robbers promptly swung into action, he said.

“One of the robbers, who had posed as the conductor all along turned towards us and asked, ‘Hope you all have your ATM cards?’ He spoke in pidgin. Nobody seemed to be listening to him because we did not realise what was happening at first.

Then he said to the driver, ‘Alaye, enter that bank.’ That was when I started to connect the dots in my head.

We started protesting, asking why they would be stopping in front of a bank at that time of the night.

Clearly, the driver was a part of the gang. One of the robbers who had sat quietly at the back of the bus with one other passenger shouted at us. He said, ‘Shut up! Just cooperate peacefully and you will be on your way. He pointed a locally made pistol at us.”

Adegun said after the robbers had told them to bring out their ATM cards or risk being shot, some of them promptly did.

But two passengers – a young man and a woman – who said they had no ATM card on them were slapped many times as they were being searched.

Eventually, five of them had ATM cards on them at the time.

One of the robbers took us in turn to the ATM and asked us to put in our Personal Identification Numbers. They withdrew everything that each of us had in the account.

I had N43,000 in my account. They first checked the account balance and withdrew N40,000. I was initially praying that the ATM would not work that day but unfortunately it did.

The other victims too were robbed of almost all they had in each of their accounts. A young man with us actually said he was supposed to use the N80,000 in his account to buy tyres for his boss the following morning. But everything was withdrawn. He was the one they robbed of the highest amount.”

Julius said they could not raise the alarm because the robber with the gun threatened to shoot anyone that attempted to make any noise.

Asked if they reported to the police after the robbery, he said after the robbers took them into a street off the major road and asked them to disembark, he immediately called a police distress line he had on his phone. He said:

“The details of the robbery, the number of victims, and the description of the vehicle were taken by the person who answered the call. The police promised to alert the patrol team in the area but I don’t know what happened after that,”

Asked if he was able to get the vehicle’s number plate, he said it was too dark for him to be able to make out the number.

This method of using commercial buses seems to make it easier for the robbers to rob a higher number of people at once rather than staking out ATM terminals.

Another victim, Mr. Funso Aina, told of how he was once robbed at gun point at the ATM terminal of a bank on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja around 9.30pm on September 23, 2013 when he was coming back from work. Aina told Saturday PUNCH:

“That night, I parked and got out but I noticed a young man at one of the four terminals at the bank. I actually thought he was also trying to withdraw money.

But as soon as I withdrew money, he pulled out his phone and spoke into it. He turned to me and put a gun to my head. He said, ‘Give me the money’ and grabbed it even before I handed it to him.

As that was taking place, another young man had approached, who must have been the one the first one was speaking to on the phone. The second man put a gun to my side and asked me to withdraw some money. ‘N50,000! N50,000!’ he told me.

But I calmly explained that I would withdraw the money but they should understand that I could not withdraw N50,000 at once. But as I pressed the buttons on the ATM, one of them quickly pressed it himself and withdrew N10,000. As he attempted to withdraw more money, the ATM stopped working.”

Aina said the robbers got N20,000 from him in total. He said they also took away his BlackBerry phone. He did not report to the police.

“You know how the police would ask you to come back everyday; I did not want such stress. If the robbers took something sensitive like my identity card or something of that nature for example, I would have reported,” he said.

He said his experience had since made him wary of using ATM at night.

Spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Ngozi Braide, said she had not got a report to indicate if this trend is on the rise in Lagos. She said it does not help the police when victims of crimes do not report them to the police. Braide said:

“Making reports at the nearest police station when something like that happens allows us to have a record. It also gives us leads to go on with in our investigation.

It is always important for victims of robberies like those in the commercial bus to try and get the number plates of the vehicles used by the robbers. Armed security men are supposed to be at the banks where these ATMs are sited.

Banks should try and put adequate lighting around their ATMs to discourage robbers.”

But Aina said he was robbed in a well lit open ATM gallery

Three men gang rape 15 year old girl in Lagos

Three men have allegedly gang-raped a 15-year old girl at the Ikorodu area of Lagos, as the police are alleged to be threatening the victim’s parents to settle the matter out of court.

The state government had earlier blamed the police for frustrating rape cases by threatening victims and their families to withdraw their cases. Two of the men have been arraigned at one of the newly established Family Courts in Ikeja for allegedly raping the girl.

The suspects are being tried by the Lagos State Office of the Public Defender, OPD, while the third suspect is still at large. It was learnt that the victim was lured to No 23, Fola Mustapha Street, in Ajegunle area of Ikorodu by her classmate (name withheld), a 16-year old girl, on the pretext that she wanted to return a text book which she had earlier borrowed from the victim.

The victim was deceived by her friend who had already arranged with the three suspected rapists to have sex with her forcefully. The three suspects; Yusuf Mohammed, Rasheed Oyedepo and Tunde were alleged to have inflicted bodily injury on the girl (name withheld). It was gathered that the raped girl’s friend deliberately delayed her classmate for hours and enabled the heinous crime by putting on the generator set, on the pretext that she needed to charge her phone. According to the OPD , the victim wanted to take her leave in annoyance when it was getting too late for the her to return home, but her friend told her to wait for a while before taking her to a new room where she was raped in turns by the gang.

While taking turns to rape the girl, the noise from the generator and the music they were playing prevented the people outside from hearing the screaming and wailing of the girl. On getting home in a bad condition, the girl’s mother took her to a private clinic for medical attention.

She was taken to Ikorodu General Hospital for proper medical treatment, where it was discovered that her womb had been tampered with at the private clinic.

The victim was in a critical condition as she was admitted in the hospital for three days while undergoing blood transfusion. A new twist has, however, been added to the story as the police has transferred the suspects, whose cases are already in court, to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti for investigation, an act the OPD described as unlawful.

It was gathered that the police had gone to the girl’s family threatening the mother for taking the case to OPD, after which they transferred the suspects to SCID, Panti. It would be recalled that the government has established a clinic where DNA tests will be conducted on rape victims and suspected rapists to enhance prosecution of the cases.

Photos: D’Banj Flops In Zimbabwe, Gets Booed Off Stage

Kokomaster Dbanj was supposed to storm and take over Zimbabwe last weekend at the Lion Lager Summer Beer Festival dubbed the "Battle of Africa" but according to reports from Zimbabwe, our man delivered a very lukewarm performance that eventually had him booed off stage.

According to AllAfrica, the festival featured Ugandan reggae musician Bebe Cool and local dancehall artistes Winky D, Guspy Warrior and King Shaddy. D'Banj represented West Africa while Bebe Cool represented East Africa.

D'Banj was the main attraction and when it was turn for him to perform, he exploded onto the stage amid pomp and zest but soon fizzled out and slumped into near- pornography with some fans.

He ran out of steam after exhausting his familiar songs in less than an hour and went into what many revellers described as "hogwash".

His opening song was "Fall in Love", followed by "Oliver Twist", "Kukere" remix, "Don't Tell Me Nonsense", "Igwe" and "Why Me". Then he lost the plot.

Neither his scantily dressed dancers nor his swag was enough to sway the majority of the crowd that became visibly restless and disappointed. So disappointing was his performance that he resorted to X-rated antics with ladies he calls "Kokolets" on the stage, in a bid to kill time.

Among the "Kokolets" was songstress Ammara Brown, who jumped on stage and joined in the dirty dancing.

"Let me see all my Kokolets on stage, now shake your boom boom and do the catwalk," he said, amid boos from the crowd, especially men. Some disgruntled fans hurled insults and obscenities.

D'Banj failed to impress and was the opposite of the Nigerian twins P-Square who performed at the same festival last year and left fans asking for more. P-Square were even barred from leaving the stage by fans who craved for more.

"This guy should not have been the main act at the show. He has a few hit songs we know that he has performed. Now look at how he is whiling up the remaining time with the ladies," said a fan in the crowd.

Ladies becareful!!!!! Shock as Worm-Infested Weaves from Dead People Find Their Way into the Market

Shock as Worm-Infested Weaves from Dead People Find Their Way into the Market
Nairobi, Kenya: Irene Myangoh, a personal assistant working at a law firm in Nairobi went to an upmarket hair salon along Kenyatta Avenue, and spent more than N5,500 on a human hair weave.
Two weeks later she started suffering from severe headache that would not go away. She would wake up with severe headache at night.
She went to a private doctor who gave her drugs for the relief of mild to moderate pain of inflammatory origin with or without fever; they would only work for a few hours and then the headache would be back worse than even before.
Desperate, she went to see a specialist who did blood tests and even a brain scan. All the tests were negative but the headache persisted, making her unable to concentrate at work and sleeping very poorly.
She went back to her doctor who decided to examine her scalp and under the beautiful weave he found worms!
The worms were burrowing into her skull and after sending the samples to the lab they found that the hair had eggs from which the worms had hatched.
The doctor told her that the hair was probably from a corpse because those worms are usually found on dead bodies.  Efforts to reach her doctor for further comments were fruitless for he was said to be out of the country.
The manager of the salon where Irene got the hair product was traumatised and said they had fitted ten weaves from the package already, adding that the particular batch of hair had sold very fast; in less than a month, she had sold over 150 pieces.
“I am shocked to hear this because this is the first time such a thing is happening to my clients. I will get more information from my supplier because we import these weaves from the UK, USA and India,” says the salon manager who did not want to be mentioned.
She continued to say: “Maybe, the supplier sent us rejects from the factory or weaves that had overstayed in the stores but I promise to follow up on the matter and compensate Irene.”
Irene had to shave after this ordeal and took antibiotics for two weeks.
Dr CK Musau, a surgeon at Nairobi hospital says that he has dealt with more than ten cases of the same in a period of six months.
He further urges ladies to be very careful with what they put on their heads, and adds that it is better to appreciate natural beauty and be content with what God has blessed them instead of chasing artificial beauty.
“It is unfortunate how the West has influenced Kenyan youth; especially ladies. They should stick to their natural African beauty as opposed to trying to ape what they see,” says Musau.
Dr Musau reiterated that the youth must keep in mind that of late, Kenyans can sell anything: from body parts to human beings to used coffins and now even weaves that seem to come from corpses.
Elsewhere, 16-year-old girl from Buruburu, a Nairobi surburb, also suffered the same fate but unfortunately for her she died. Cobweb eggs were found in her hair after she died.
There was a profound cobweb design in her weaved hair. She dropped dead after constant headaches.
The root cause? The weave had unnoticed spider eggs. The warmth produced after weaving provided a very conducive environment for the eggs to hatch.
A spider grew in her scalp and bit her. The poison found its way to her blood. She could not survive the attack.

This is really scary. As for me, i am sticking to my natty dreads and if i get tired of that, i ll go on low cut.

53 Nigerians Detained In Goa After They Block Highway Over Death Of Fellow Nigerian.

A Nigerian was killed brutally in a group clash at Parra, Bardez, in what is suspected to be over drug trade in the coastal belt of north Goa.
Infuriated by the murder, several Nigerians are agitating demanding arrest of the assailants.
Police sources said that the attack took place in Parra (around 15 km from here), which is a hub of Nigerian activities for quite some time now.
A big gang descended at Parra where many Nigerians stay - in four and two wheeler vehicles and attacked a group of Nigerians with weapons. Some of the Nigerians were on bikes when they were attacked. One was hit with a dagger so severally that he breathed his last there itself. Five others were injured in the attack before the assailants fled from the scene.
Other Nigerians who rushed to the spot on hearing about the ghastly murder, refused the police to take the body for post mortem demanding that the assailtants be arrested first.
                                                 Nigerians protesting

GOA IS A STATE IN INDIA.

53 Nigerians were detained late last night after a mob of about 200 of them blocked a National Highway over the death of a fellow national, prompting the Goa government to announce a major crackdown on foreign nationals living in the state without proper documents.

The mob blocked the Mapusa-Panaji Highway running through Porvorim village yesterday afternoon after allegedly ransacking the police hearse van that was carrying the body of the Nigerian, who was found dead with multiple stab wounds at Parra village in Mapusa near Panaji late last night, police said.
Following the incident, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar told reporters that he had asked the police department to comb the entire state and locate Nigerians and other foreign nationals staying without visa and other documentation.
Mr Parrikar said that the murder was fall-out of a gang rivalry in the drug trade.
"We will also crack down on those involved in the drug trade extensively now. The action would be initiated in the next seven days and will continue in future," Mr Parrikar said.
He also said that the establishments including clubs, pubs and restaurants which entertain foreign nationals without proper documents would face criminal cases.
Admitting that there was a failure of police informer network resulting in lower detection of drug cases, the Chief Minister said, "Virtually for five years, when Congress government was in power, the network had gone defunct."
He claimed that in the last seven months the network has been built again.
Of the 53 Nigerians who were detained, those involved in the ruckus would be arrested and the documents of others would be verified, the chief minister said. Mr Parrikar conceded that a few locals brutally beat up two Nigerians protesting on the road, who were admitted to the district hospital in Mapusa.

"Locals who assaulted the Nigerians would also be booked," he said.
